Okay, so I'm still "cleaning" up scraps from my stash. I had leftovers from these socks (RIP) and this scarf. They match. Woo hoo! Another pair of Magic 28 socks on the way! Well, my DPNs in size 5 are a set of four instead of five, so I made a Magic 30 sock instead of 28, to make things even on the three stitch needles... What? Why are you looking at me like that? Okay, so I'm weird that way.
Anyway, I get the entire first sock done, and notice that my orange yarn ball is looking a bit...deflated.

click for bigger to see that the ball is sadly very flat
My scale is out of batteries, but I don't need it. I've just cast on the second sock. I'm never going to have enough.
So, does anyone out there have any Knitpicks Wool of the Andes in Carrot? Even at $1.99, I can't get more because they've discontinued the color! Ack! Please, I would be ecstatic if any of you have some to spare! Even leftovers, even scraps. I'll take anything. I really don't want to have to rip the whole first sock and make it smaller, but I fear I'll need to. Maybe I can do a Magic 24 sock? Is that even worth it? I guess it'll fit somebody.
I have WOTA in Violet (bright purple) and Mist (dark grey) that I'd be happy to trade for some Carrot. Or you can choose from something else if those don't float your boat. I'll work with you, I'm desperate! Thanks!
*** UPDATE ***
I might have the Carrot I need already! I posted in the swap/ISO section of the knittyboard, and sillyrabbit has already replied that she has some. Wow, that was fast! Thanks, sillyrabbit!

Wow! I'm going to have go check that board! I WAS gonna say...make a backwards sock...with the foot all multicolored. But, more carrot, that's great (and a great color).

It does look somewhat flat. I don't have any WOTA in carrot, but I hope somebody does!

Oh, fingers crossed that you'll be able to get another skein in the same color to finish these socks - they're so cute! Happy Knitting!
