Kat asked for people to post their computer wallpaper images. Here's mine:
For the desktop, it's set to "stretch" to the size of the desktop, which, while distorting the image, doesn't really matter for an image like this.
Most of the work I've done in my career has been on NASA projects, so I always use Hubble images as my desktop wallpaper. Here's the one before this:
I like them because they're usually something interesting and beautiful in the center, with the black of space around the outsides. I like to have the edges of my wallpaper dark, because that's where all of my icons are, and I can see them better against a dark background.
I get the images from the Hubble website here. They have a section already formatted for wallpaper, or you can get them from the gallery by clicking on them and choosing what size you want.
So that's my wallpaper!

Thanks for your comment on my entrelac post. I've got it ripped back and on the right track, now.
I love your Hubble images. My son (and husband) are space fans and we're working on a space bedroom to be the "big boy bedroom" now that we have another little one one the way. He's going to be so excited (about the room--not so sure about the baby)! Heh. :)

I love it! The Astronomy Picture of the Day site is one of my favorites, and my desktop at work had an ever-changing series of nebulas and other astronomical phenomena.

It's so interesting how many of us like Hubble/space images for our wallpaper. I love them! So beautiful.
