FO: Hooray for Me Gloves

My first things with fingers! These knuckle gloves went to my 5yo niece. I had some sock yarn left over from these socks that I made for myself:

I found Marnie McLean's "Hooray for Me Gloves" pattern and knew it would be perfect to use up the yarn and make a great gift for T. I followed the advice in the pattern to downsize it to little hands, torturing my 6yo son in the process by making him try them on every five minutes.

My niece seems to really like them! She's been over here twice since Christmas and was wearing them both times, so I'm taking that as a sign that they're a hit.

Here they are:

Pattern: Hooray for Me Gloves, by Marnie McLean
Yarn: Knitpicks Simple Stripes in Vintage. I believe this has been discontinued, I haven't seen it on their web site in quite a while.
Modifications: Sized down for a 5yo-sized hand. I did a sewn bindoff on all of the fingers.
